Electrical engineering is a professional engineering discipline that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.Electrical engineering has now subdivided into a wide range of subfields including electronics, digital computers, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics.The Diploma in Electrical Engineering is developed for candidates who have knowledge and background of electrical engineering with a completed course of study in electrical engineering at Level 5, or with equivalent skills and knowledge, and want to develop more specialist knowledge and skills, as per requirements of the industry.The purpose of qualification is to provide skilled graduates to different sectors of the electrical engineering industry including telecommunication and networks; and electronics and embedded systems. The program aims to produce graduates which are fit to provide services in the global electrical industry.
